Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig onto every part of one another at 'Whistleblower' afterparty

Posted in : News

(added few months ago!)

Around a month after they tied the knot in secret, Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig flaunted their affection publicly. On Wednesday, July 27, the newlyweds attended the afterparty for "The Whistleblower" premiere at the James Hotelin New York City, and Us Weekly reported that they were all over each other.

"Rachel's eyes lit up when she saw [Daniel]," a source told the publication. "He put his arms around her and they definitely exude being in love." Offering more details, PEOPLE dished on that the two Hollywood stars, who co-star in "Dream House", shared a very public rooftop kiss.

One witness recalled the smooch as saying, "When Daniel arrived on the roof deck, he embraced Rachel and gave her a long tender kiss on the lips - it was very romantic." Another one added, "I wanted to be part of that kiss." Meanwhile, a third observer remembered, "It was very hot."

Rachel looked stunning at the afterparty. The 41-year-old actress wore a fitted red dress with capped sleeves and paired it with nude court shoes. Her 43-year-old actor husband, in the meantime, sported a laid-back look. Hiding his hair under a baseball cap, he dressed down in jeans, T-shirt and trainers.

Daniel Craig's wedding torments shown-fiancee

Posted in : News

(added few months ago!)

Daniel Craig's shock wedding has left the family of his ex-girlfriend floored. The James Bond star married fellow Brit Rachel Weisz in New York last month, and the nuptials that stunned Hollywood also served up a huge surprise for the actor's ex-fiancee Satsuki Mitchell and her folks. Her father Christopher Mitchell has opened up to Britain's Daily Mail, explaining his daughter has forbidden family members from mentioning Craig's name.

Daniel Craig's wedding torments shown-fiancee

"His sudden marriage came out of nowhere. We heard about it like everyone else - by reading the newspapers. She doesn't mention his name now and tells me off if I do," he says. "Satsuki has only just reached a happy place. She has since said, more than once, that the break-up was the best thing for her.

"She knew he was not the man she wanted him to be and there was something wrong in the relationship."Mitchell, 32, and Craig, 43, became engaged in 2007. They split in November last year. Also in November, Weisz announced her separation from film director husband Darren Aronofsky, with whom she has a five-year-old son, Henry. Craig was previously married to Scottish actress Fiona Loudon, with whom he has a daughter, 19-year-old Ella. They divorced in 1994. Craig and Weisz paired up last year while making horror film Dream House together.

Daniel Craig gets ready us for relentless Dragon Tattoo

Posted in : News

(added few months ago!)

Remember all the fun we had last year finding neat similarities between The Social Network and Citizen Kane? Good times! Get ready for more of that same sort of cordial debate now that Daniel Craig has compared The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to classic adult thrillers of the ’70s like The Godfather. But hey, no pressure, Mr. Fincher! Craig’s complete interview with Tom Chirella can be found at Esquire.com. Choice excerpts right here.
Daniel Craig gets ready us for relentless Dragon Tattoo
What is certain, however, is that Daniel Craig wants to make movies for adults. Did he actually say that?

Directly. Listen to him speak on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: “It’s as adult as you can possibly make it. This is adult drama. I grew up, as we fucking all did, watching The Godfather and that, movies that were made for adults. And this is a $100 million R-rated movie. Nobody makes those anymore. And Fincher, he’s not holding back. They’ve given him free rein. He showed me some scenes recently, and my hand was over my mouth, going, Are you fucking serious?”

He raises his eyes, looks upward to describe what he saw in a set of Fincher’s dailies that startled him this way. You can imagine — the book contains sodomy and torture chambers and lighting people on fire. And yet, “it’s not that he simply showed me footage that was horribly graphic,” Craig says. “It was stuff that was happening, or had happened. And somehow you don’t see it.”

What’s that mean?

This is the adult thing: to not be obvious about it. “There’s more than one way to sense violence,” he says. “Much more powerful ways than seeing it step-by-step.”About Jim Sheridan’s Dream House and James Bond 23:

The release of Dream House was delayed seven months largely by Craig’s scheduling conflicts. Sheridan is sanguine about the trade-off that came with employing the world’s most in-demand actor. “Ah, it took forever,” he says. “Daniel just got very busy and we needed to do these reshoots. But I really think he’s one of the very good British actors. They are not many, you know? I suppose you’d say Ralph Fiennes and a few others, but they always dwell in the area of being, you know, very good actors. But who was the last great British star, really? Was it Peter O’Toole? Daniel Day-Lewis? Is he a star or an actor? Ewan McGregor looked like he would be for a while. I don’t think he is anymore. And what about Jude Law? He seems to have gone back a bit, yeah? I think Daniel is a star. Or he can be a star.”

Before he hangs up, Sheridan says of Dream House: “Daniel is terrific in this. Very vulnerable, very damaged, very lovable. Great, great acting. Very accommodating man.” He hums a little, pondering across the ocean’s breadth of our phone connection. “I’m just trying to think of something funny that happened. If I thought about one, I’d come back to you.”

So not one word about the next installment of Bond, which he refers to simply as Bond 23?

“No-no-no, Sam’s gonna do it, Sam Mendes, and I’m really fucking really lookin’ forward to the fact that he’s gonna do it,” he says, snapping to. Mendes directed him in the gloomy thriller Road to Perdition in 2002. Craig tricks out a little smirk then. A concession, a comfort maybe.

“This has become my way, it’s as simple as that,” he says. “I mean, since I’ve just become James Bond. And I think, you know, that means being something that people feel they own. And all of the sudden I’m getting magazine covers, when I got nothing for ten years before that. I say it’s just pure luck. And doing covers, people interviewing me, and they want to know everything and I’m going, I’m not gonna fucking tell you!”

When Daniel Craig alternate ex Satsuki Mitchell 'completely confounded'

Posted in : News

(added few months ago!)

Daniel Craig's ex-fiancee Satsuki Mitchell is absolutely bewildered at his fast-pace marriage with co-star Rachel Weisz, her family has revealed. The James Bond star formalised his fledgling relationship with Weisz following his dumping Mitchell after a six-year relationship.

When Daniel Craig alternate ex Satsuki Mitchell 'completely confounded'

Mitchell, a 32-year-old Hollywood producer was earlier reported to have moved on stoically, but her father Christopher confessed to the Daily Mail that her emotions remain still raw. "His sudden marriage came out of nowhere," said Christopher. "We heard about it like everyone else, by reading the newspapers. She doesn't mention his name now and tells me off if I do," he added. Mitchell's devastation was obvious as she was said to have considered Weisz a friend, after the two women spent time together on the set of Dream House in which Weisz has starred with Craig.

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have gotten married

(added few months ago!)

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have tied the knot. And the Bond star's New York wedding was so top secret that M would have been proud. The pair met on the set of the thriller "Dream House" last year and the ceremony took place in a pal's house on Wednesday.

Daniel's 18-year-old daughter Ella and Rachel's son Henry, four, were present with two family friends who acted as witnesses. Rachel, 40, split from Henry's father, "Black Swan" director Darren Aronofsky, last autumn after eight years together.

And the "007" actor called off his engagement to Satsuki Mitchell in November. Rachel and Daniel went public on the relationship at Christmas when they spent Christmas together in a Dorset cottage. A spokesman for the 43-year-old actor confirmed they had married, but refused to give any more details. However, Rachel's dad George wished the happy couple "continued joy."

Daniel Craig & Rachel Weisz get married soon

Posted in : News

(added few months ago!)

Daniel Craig & Rachel Weisz get married soonWell, we didn’t see that one coming! Rachel Weisz married hunky actor Daniel Craig last Wednesday in a top-secret ceremony in New York. His rep confirmed the nuptials but gave no details.

The pair, who costar together in the upcoming “Dream House,” had just four guests: his daughter Ella, 18; her son Henry, 5; and two family friends. “Daniel and Rachel insisted on having a small, quiet wedding,” a source told the News of the World. “They are madly in love and couldn’t wait to be husband and wife — but they wanted minimum fuss.”

Daniel was previously engaged to Satsuki Mitchell, his girlfriend for five years. Rachel was in a relationship with Henry’s dad, director Darren Aronofsky, for nine years, and the couple were engaged for five … but they never married. The Oscar-winning actress was first linked romantically to the James Bond actor in November 2010, though the longtime friends initially denied the rumors.

Well, we respect celebs who manage to keep their relationship out of the spotlight … but we’d like to see some wedding pictures, please!

Innocent Jen: Don’t believe the talk that Jennifer Aniston is a home wrecker, say the people close to her and new beau Justin Theroux. Though the actor-screenwriter had a live-in relationship of several years with costume designer Heidi Bivens, Team Aniston insists the romance sparked up after he had already broken it off.

“I know people are saying Jen broke them up, but they had been on-and-off for years,” a source close to Justin tells “People.”“Jen would never hook up with a guy who has a girlfriend,” a friend of the former “Friends” star declares.

However, for those of you who enjoyed speculating that Jen is imitating Angelina Jolie, there is one way she’s following her former rival’s lead: She’s sporting what her rep confirms is her first tattoo. Jen’s is on her foot and says “Norman” — in honor of her dog who died recently.  Hmm, maybe that isn’t very Angie-esque after all.

Lights, Camera, Marriage: In what should come as a shock to absolutely no one, Kim Kardashian will reportedly televise her wedding to Kris Humphries. Like sister Khloe before her, she plans to let E! cameras capture the nuptials. The socialite is said to be in negotiations with Ryan Seacrest’s company to film the big occasion.

“It will be a two-hour stand-alone special,” a source confided to Popeater. “[Kim] is so used to having cameras follow her that she doesn’t even notice them any more. Kim really wants her fans to celebrate with her on the most important day of her life.”

“Anyone that thought these girls were going to be stars for 15 minutes like Paris Hilton was wrong,” declared a network exec (whom we’re guessing works for E!). “We are now on season six of their show and it shows no sign of slowing down. Kim’s wedding will be ratings gold ... then we can look forward to the episode when she has a baby.”If she lets cameras in the delivery room, we’re canceling our cable subscription.

Wilde, who played Dr Remy "Thirteen" Hadley in TV medical drama House, stars opposite Craig in Jon Favreau's comic book adaptation and says that female fans will definitely enjoy the film. "He is the most beautiful man on earth," Wilde told E! Online. "He really is."Wilde joked that as production on the film went on, the producers seemed to find more and more ways to exploit Craig's sex appeal. "They kept making (his chaps) tighter," she revealed.

"You could tell we had female executives because he kept getting tighter pants and he would have random shirtless scenes. "We were like, 'Yes, finally the ladies are in charge!'". Cowboys & Aliens is to premiere in US cinemas on July 29, and in Australia on August 18. Craig is currently preparing himself for his third James Bond movie.

Craig and Ford impart organize in late cowpokes & outsiders notice

Cowboys & Aliens stars Daniel Craig as Jake Lonergan, a gunslinger with a mysterious shackle on his wrist and no memory of his past who discovers he’s the only hope for protecting a desert town from alien invaders. The movie, which opens on July 29, also stars Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Paul Dano, Keith Carradine, Clancy Brown, Walter Goggins, Noah Ringer and Adam Beach.

1875. New Mexico Territory. A stranger (Craig) with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don’t welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford). It’s a town that lives in fear.

But Absolution is about to experience fear it can scarcely comprehend as the desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Screaming down with breathtaking velocity and blinding lights to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known.

Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he’s been, he realizes he holds a secret that could give the town a fighting chance against the alien force. With the help of the elusive traveler Ella (Olivia Wilde), he pulls together a posse comprised of former opponents-townsfolk, Dolarhyde and his boys, outlaws and Apache warriors-all in danger of annihilation. United against a common enemy, they will prepare for an epic showdown for survival.
