Daniel Craig and James Bond 23 postponed again: Sorry all you James Bond fans out there, I have some bad news. Last month we told you that Sam Mendes was on board to direct the next installment in the Bond franchise BOND 23, but I’m sad to report that this film has been delayed yet again. Due to all the bankruptcy woes at MGM, BOND 23 has been halted for who knows how long. Right now the only film they are concentrating on is THE HOBBIT, which is probably because it’s almost a guaranteed success. As far as we know director Sam Mendes is still the guy behind the camera, but who knows how long he’ll wait around for the studio to get their ducks in a row.
On the bright side, this frees up Daniel Craig to continue full steam ahead on the GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO franchise with David Fincher. Mr. Fincher is probably very happy that Bond has been pushed to the back burner.
