A bride made a 007-style entrance to her wedding on Saturday as when she arrived in a flame-red speed boat. James Bond fan Michelle Basten, wearing her strapless wedding gown and tiara, stepped delicately into the craft at The Dolphin Hotel in St Ives and was taken - at a much more seemly pace than her the secret agent is used to - to her wedding at All Saints Church in St Ives where her groom, Ben Mullen was waiting.
As Michelle, who lives with Ben in Wyton, stepped off at The Waits, a piper was waiting to escort her into church and after the ceremony a lucky sweep was there to greet them. Father James Pullen from All Saints Church told The Hunts Post. "Having a piper means you can hear the bride coming - and Michelle was on time."Michelle is pictured on her way to church with page boys Josh Sutterby and Ben Sax.
