James Bond 23 Upcoming Movie:Freida Pinto and Sam Mendes? – It is rumored that Frieda Pinto and Sam Mendes could join the team for the upcoming James Bond 23 movie. Although the studio, MGM, has fallen on hard economic times in recent months.
The movie is expected to go ahead as planned, even though several other potential releases have already been delayed until the company is able to allocate funds for production on these movies. Frieda Pinto was also linked to the last James Bond movie, but did not appear in it.
Sam Mendes is reportedly supposed to direct. Mendes is a highly regarded director, who is most known for his work on “American Beauty,” “Revolutionary Road,” “Jarhead,” and “Road To Perdition.” All of these movies did fairly well at the box office, and were highly touted by critics when they were released.
Mendes has long been rumored to be interested in directing a bond installment ever since the series was revamped after Pierce Brosnan opted to move on and no longer continue to play Bond. The role was then handed over to Daniel Craig, who has been heralded as the best Bond in years. The new Bond films are much more quickly paced than the previous films, and many fans of the series have been pleased with the direction that the Bond series has been heading through recent films.

The newest Bond movie is rumored to be in Afghanistan. One can only assume that this means that Bond will be tackling one of the larger terrorist groups that exist in the area in the newest installment of the Bond series. It is not clear at this time if either Pinto or Mendes have been confirmed for the movie, but insiders have said that it is highly unlikely that a deal between them and the studio will break down later in negotiations.
